Bluey's Beach Village — Concept Design Options 1 & 2
MidCoast Council has released two concept design options for Bluey's Beach Village, aimed at improving the safety and visual amenity of the area. Key topics addressed in the designs include:
- Traffic Management
- Pedestrian Ways
- Car Parking
- Street Appeal

Have your say — submissions close 4:30pm, Tuesday 28 April 2026.
You can submit comment in two ways:
- Directly via MidCoast Council's 'Have Your Say' portal, and
- Via the PPCA 'Take the Community Survey' button in the Quick Actions panel on the right of this page.
The PPCA survey is anonymous and takes approximately 8–10 minutes. It will provide you with an immediate summary of your own responses and a live tally of all community responses.
The survey covers:
- Your level of support for ten design features shared by both Option 1 and Option 2;
- Your preferences on the three features that genuinely differ between the two options;
- Which trade-offs you find acceptable — and which you don't;
- Any observations from your own experience of parking, pedestrian safety, or village character that should be considered in the upgrade design.
PPCA survey results will be compiled and reported as part of the PPCA's collective response to Council's design proposal.

Indicative artist’s image of integrated roundabout and entry road to new residential estate area
The developer has provided the indicative visual model (above) of the planned roundabout at Boomerang Drive, which forms part of Development Application DA2022/1099. This is intended to help the community better understand what will be constructed as part of the approved works.
